I decided to make a vodka that could not only utilize my application of figure drawing but also the idea of transformation... thus was born the Fountain of Youth vodka! On the front of the bottle appears a more creepy, demon-like woman...some with horns, others with snakes for hair...but once the vodka is gone, turn the bottle around and an image of a beautiful woman appears. The idea is to allude that one can transform into something they are not used to being, or sometimes, in other cases, their true selves when influenced by liquor. Either way, it is up to the viewer to decide how to identify with the beautiful woman on the inside of the bottle, to find their inner Fountain of Youth.

More on the Octobot
More updates! This time packaging and pins and buttons o my!
Here I thought it would be neat to potentially create coffee cups from recycled materials and package the shirt sizes according to the various coffee cup sizes:
(a close up of the label):
Another idea I had for packaging was using recycled plastic to make tubing for the shirts:
(this is the label actually wrapped around inside):
And last but certainly not least, the freebie stickers and buttons that would come with the shirt! Who doesn't love free shtuff.
I really loved working on this project, I want to add some more to it but right now I'm trying to wet my feet into some more packaging ideas. Oh what fun!

Octobot
Now that it's summer I've finally had time to photograph some projects I've been working on, including the Octobot branding project. I basically wanted to create an identity for a younger and more trendy crowd with an interest in upcoming music. I wanted to keep environmental concerns in mind, by being earth friendly and having the shirts made out of 100% organic cotton and merchandise made with recycled plastic.
Some sketches to create the logo:
the final logo:
T-shirt designs!
More fun stuff and packaging to come soon!

Some more inspiring art: Week 14
Well as we all know (or may not know), one of my obsessions is definitely surrealist paintings, especially when it's digital. I just can't help it. I love creepy. Which is why I bring to you Anton Semenov, newfound idol of mine. He is the young age of 27 and has been doing art since he was 3. His work totally blows my mind, I love all of his pale ghostly creatures, they are so eerie. I also love that he can take an almost grayscale monochromatic palette and create such interesting and detailed pieces. A lot of his work have seemingly apocalyptic themes to them (or at least that's what I gathered?) and they remind me a lot of the dreams that I have, which really helps me to connect to them. He renders everything so smoothly, and each painting carries a strong, heavy, and intense message.
